Established in 2015, Tender Paw Puppies specializes in family-friendly dogs, with an emphasis on health, outstanding and intelligent dispositions, and solid body types that conform to the AKC breed standard.
All of our dogs are carefully chosen for their health, temperament, and conformation to the AKC standard so that we can improve the next generation of family pets and potential show dogs.

Ezra & Katy Borkholder
Hello, we are so happy you are here! We are Ezra and Katy Borkholder. Ezra and I are a husband and wife team. We have been in the dog breeding program together since 2015. I am a huge animal lover and have a great passion for them! I grew up on a farm and always dreamed of having one of my own with lots of animals.
Growing up I had my own little house dog named Trixie. She went with me wherever I went. One day she got together with my grandparents (who lived right beside me) dog. A couple of months later she had puppies and I had a newfound love for raising them. I was responsible for caring for the litter and finding the puppies a new home. I absolutely enjoyed every bit of it!
After getting married in 2010 Ezra and I found out we were not able to have children. With that being the case we decided we would put our energy into a full-time dog breeding program. Something where we could work together, at home, doing the things we loved most.
In 2019 we decided to join the foster care program and since have adopted three precious children. Our dream is to one day have our children join us in raising happy, healthy puppies. Until then we have hired a few Amazing people that are puppy lovers as well to give us a hand until our children are capable of helping.

Hello! My name is Autumn Nissley. I joined the Tender Paw Puppy Team the summer of 2021. After years of experience and diligently serving their customers, Ezra and Katy invited me to join their team. With a growing family and the high demands of taking care of the needs of the dogs this would allow them to put their energies where needed most.
I am so excited about this opportunity to serve you and answer any questions you may have about our puppies. Best of all we live neighbors to Ezra and Katy. This allows me easy access to the puppies I get to love on each day.
